Princess, female, age 3 years

Princess My name is Princess and we were losing our home so my owner asked if the Rescue could find me a new home. My previous owner didn't take very good care of my ears so the vet has me on some meds to try to clear them up. Paws crossed that they will be all better soon. I am not 100% golden but I have a 100% golden personality. My favorite thing to do is to sit next to you so you can love on me with my head on the pillow. My foster mom keeps saying to me "you are so cute" that makes me feel so good and special like I am a princess. I am spayed, up to date on my vaccines and heartworm negative.

Princess has an adoption pending.

Vanna, female, age 5 years

Vanna I'm Vanna and thanks to some wonderful people they made it possible for me to be rescued by LCGRR. I was found by Animal Control in a little town in GA after I had been wondering around for a long time with no food or anyone to take care of me. Animal Control brought me in and pulled 60 or more ticks off me and after I came into the Rescue they were still trying to get them all off. Finally I'm tick free and feeling much much better.

When the Rescue found out about me, a wonderful lady drove as fast as she could to the shelter and stopped them from euthanizing me. They only give us strays 3 days and then we are put down and my time was up; boy that was a close call. That very day a private plane flew down and picked me up, and now here I am in Charleston, safe and sound in a loving foster home.

I have a foster sister and we are getting a long great and she is going to teach me about playing with toys. I am a mild heartworm positive and will be spayed and brought up to date on my vaccines as soon as I get a little weight on me. I am a very gentle and sweet girl and will worship you like no other.

Tara, female, age 9 years

Tara My previous owner was moving and wanted the Rescue to find me a new home. I am up to date on my vaccines, spayed and heartworm negative. I'm afraid I have a really bad haircut right now because I was matted so bad to the skin they had to shave a lot of my hair off my backside but I sure feel much better after a bath and getting those mats and fleas off me and I know my hair will grow back in no time. If you are looking for a really really good girl I bet I'm the gal for you. My foster mom says that I am such a good girl and I really am. I get along with the goldens in the house and I love to play with my toys.

We are so sad to report that sweet Tara has cancer that is inoperable. She will stay with her foster family that gives her all the love that she deserves. She is still feeling good and living every day to the fullest and enjoying going to the beach and hanging out with the golden boys.
