Tellie, male, age 2½
My owner named me Tellie because when I was young I liked to watch television.
My owner asked the Rescue to find me a new home because they had to
move and couldn't take me with them. I am neutered, up to date on my
vaccines but tested positive for heartworms. They will start my treatment
soon but if you would like to come meet me just say the word. I am in
a foster home with another dog and a cat and doing great. I am a sweet
guy and would love to make you my family.

Captain, male, age 8
My dad moved out of the country and asked the Rescue to find me and
my dad Marvin new homes. I am in a foster home with another golden and
kids and my foster mom says I'm perfect. I am a big boy with a big heart.
I am neutered, up to date on my vaccines and heartworm negative. My
dad had me shaved for the summer but my hair will grow and I'll be a
stunning golden again soon. If you are looking for a big boy with tons

Hero, male, age 10+
The
Rescue named me Hero because I was so brave when my owner left me at
Animal Control after hours on Memorial Day Weekend. I can't understand
how they could do this to me, I have given them years of love and this
is how they repay me. All I have ever asked for was a little love. When
I came in to the Rescue I was matted from head to toe and but my foster
mom has made me beautiful again and boy do I feel better. I am in a
foster home with 3 other goldens and doing great. I am up to date on
my vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative. I would love a home with
not so many steps because of some arthitis. I know most people look
for a young pup but golden oldies have a lot to offer so please give
me a chance for a forever home with you.
Junior, male, age 5
My
name is Junior and I am Tara's son. I am up to date on my vaccines,
neutered and heartworm negative. I am so thankful to the Rescue to bring
mom and me in and give us wonderful foster homes to stay until we find
our forever homes. We had been left outside for a long time and not
being taken care of very well. I am loving living in my foster moms
house and getting a lot of attention now. I am 92 lbs and a little skinny
so I am a big boy. If you are looking for a big strong handsome guy,
I bet I'm the man for you.
Update from Junior's Foster Mom ...
This guy is the ultimate family pet. He is Mr Social or Social Boy I call him. He interacts with children so well. Whenever my next door neighbor's children are out playing he goes directly there and he just shines. He goes from kid to kid and tries to intercept their basket or soccer ball. He seems so happy and they enjoy him trying to play. So a family with kids and a fenced in yard but will allow him to live in-doors would be good qualities for his prospective family to have. I think them having another dog might be a good idea too so he doesn't get lonely - if they are gone a lot. He still follows me everywhere and if I stop for just a second, he lays down where ever that is.
Avery, male, age 6
My owner has come on hard times and have asked the Rescue to find me
a new home. I am up to date on my vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative.
I had a growth on my back toe and my doctor has taken that off so I'm
doing great now. I am a very sweet guy and I am now looking to have
a family that will take good care of me. Give the Rescue a call and

Update: Avery is everything Golden. Friendly, eager to please, and at his human's side. He's also quite a snuggler. If he had it his way, he'd be curled up in a lap, day and night. Avery came into rescue housebroken and is also completely trushworthy w/free roam of the house while no one is at home. Avery is good with dogs, cats and children. He's a gentle soul who worships his stuffed toys. Since coming into rescue, Avery has put on some weight and is about 66 lbs now. Dr. Jackson and his foster mom have been helping him recover from allergies. He's made great progress and will soon have a gorgeous coat.

Marvin, male, age 10
I'm Captain's dad and he and I are looking for new homes. We don't have
to find homes together because we are in different foster homes and
doing just great. I am in a foster home with 2 other goldens and really
enjoying being in the house in the AC. I am neutered, up to date on
my vaccines but tested positive for heartworms. I will start my treatment
soon but in the meantime let the rescue know that you would love a big
fella like me to be a part of your family. My dad gave me a summer cut
but soon my beautiful fur will be back and I'll be my gorgeous self

Louie, male, age 1-1/2
I'm Louie and I am looking for my forever home. I am great with other
dogs and I love kids even little ones. I know my basic commands and
I will sit for my food and for putting on my leash to go on my walks.
I don't even bother you when you are eating, I lay quietly and won't
beg. I love to go for car rides and play ball. I am crate trained, up
to date on my vaccines, neutered and microchipped. I am a very happy
boy and would love to make you my family and give you all my love and

I'm Marty and my mom asked the Rescue to find me a new home because they are moving and couldn't take me with them. I will be 1 year old in July so I'm still a baby. I am housebroken, up to date on my vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative.
I am in a foster home with another golden and little kids and doing just fine. My foster mom and dad are telling me that digging in the yard is a no no, I didn't think it was such a big deal but they do so I'm trying to make them happy.

I am in a foster home with another dog and several cat. My favorite thing in the world to do is chase after butterflies and dragonflies.
